Restaurant Assoc. honors Ronnie Boals

Ronnie Boals - The R.B’s legend

On Thursday, April 18, the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association presented Ronnie Boals with a Lifetime Achievement Award and announced that a scholarship to the Culinary Institute of Charleston will be awarded in his name.

Steve Carroll, president of the restaurant association, and Kathy Britzius, executive director presented the award to him.

In addition, the Town of Mount Pleasant proclaimed April 18 to be Ronnie Boals Day, and town councilman Elton Carrier was on hand representing the town to present him with a key.
