District seeks input in naming new school

The Berkeley County School District is seeking the public’s input in naming its new school planned for Nexton, a planned residential and commercial development.
To participate, send an email to communications@bcsdschools.net with a suggested name of the new elementary school. If you would like to include a reason or explanation with your name suggestion, please do. 
All suggestions must be received by Friday, April 19 at 4 p.m.
The Board of Education School Naming Committee will review the top three to five names and present them at the April 23 school board meeting.  The public is invited to attend the board meeting, held at 6:30 p.m. at 229 E. Main Street in Moncks Corner.
