Stratford boys soccer team splits region matches

The Stratford boys soccer team split a pair of Region 7-AAAA matches last week.
The Knights blanked Cane Bay 3-0 on Tuesday and lost to Wando 3-0 on Thursday. In the Cane Bay win, Tyler Tekac scored two goals and Yamir Watts added the other one.
Justin Overstreet recorded the shutout in goal. Stratford is on the road April 9 against West Ashley and James Island on April 11.
The next home game is Tuesday, April 16 in the "Pink on the Pitch" matches against Goose Creek. Both the Knights and Lady Knights will play that night to raise money for the fight against Breast Cancer.
