According to Mount Pleasant Police Department Maj. Stan Gragg on Jan. 23 a Mount Pleasant Police Officer was investigating multiple thefts from stores in the Towne Centre. The suspects had been described as three black females driving a silver vehicle. The suspects refused to stop and began evasive driving in an attempt to elude apprehension. Gragg said the pursuit led officers into North Charleston and with the assistance of Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and North Charleston Police Department three suspects were taken into custody.
