Maurer joins First Citizens

First Citizens has announced that Jason Maurer has joined the company as vice president and retail sales manager.
In his new role, Maurer will be responsible for developing relationships with individual and small business customers, providing products and services that help clients meet their financial goals and representing First Citizens in the community. He will be based at the company’s Hanahan branch, located at 1248 Yeamans Hall Road.
“Jason consistently demonstrates leadership and a deep understanding of the bank’s wide array of products and services,” First Citizens Senior Vice President and Retail Market Executive Gary White said. “His extensive banking experience and commitment to delivering superior customer service will be a huge asset to us moving forward.”
Prior to joining First Citizens, Maurer worked at Wells Fargo as a licensed store manager for more than 10 years. A native of Hanahan, Maurer is a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
