For the Birds

The Center for Birds of Prey, a local raptor conservation and education facility, recently visited Westview Primary School. First and second grade students learned about the habitats, diversity and biological adaptations of falcons, hawks and owls. The students observed different flight patterns when the owl and hawk flew directly over them during the thrilling lesson.
