Dear Editor:

In this day and age there is so much gloom and doom, that I thought I would share some happy news with you.
We have an angel in our neighborhood. She mows yards, pulls and sprays weeds, trims trees and bushes, and helps wherever she can.
She is especially wonderful to us older people in the neighborhood and never has to be asked to help out. She takes us to doctor’s appointments, cooks and feeds us many times a month, and checks on us to make sure we are OK.
A few a years ago, we had a field of weeds that is now a beautiful area, with all of its holes filled in. Our angel has spent many hours hauling pine straw, mulch and leaves to fill it all in and make it attractive. She also planted a beautiful garden in the corner with rose bushes and many other beautiful plants.
She made a very nice sign and put it in the garden that says “Sedgefield I.” She faithfully weeds, plants and maintains this area along with all of her other chores. If it doesn’t rain, she hauls water from home to keep her plants healthy.
She does so many things for us that they are too numerous to mention. She is always smiling and humming a little tune, keeping our morale high. There is no way to express how much she means to us.
So, Ms. Tina Willis, your friends and neighbors would like you to know how much we love and appreciate you. You are truly an angel and no amount of thanks could express our feelings.
We know you don’t care about the recognition, but we feel very lucky to have you.
