As co-chairs of the Berkeley Yes 4 Schools committee, we wish to thank voters in Berkeley County for their overwhelming approval of the School Improvement Referendum this past Election Day.
Through your “yes” vote, you reaffirmed you want safer schools, smaller class sizes and more high tech learning environments, as well as improved work places for our teachers. You recognized that today’s students are tomorrow’s workforce, and they deserve the best education possible.
This referendum will allow our incredible and talented teachers the best learning environments so they can continue to do what they do so well ... great teaching!
Thanks to you, Berkeley County continues to move forward. We appreciate your support of public education and more importantly, of our 31,000 students.
