The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit arrested two St. Stephen men on methamphetamine charges Thursday.
Agents, with a warrant, conducted a search of a camper located at 3305 Santee River Rd. in the St. Stephen area of Berkeley County, according to a press release. Officers found components of a methamphetamine lab along with a small amount of methamphetamine.
“The unit is working hard to clamp down on the methamphetamine labs in Berkeley County,” Drug Enforcement Unit Captain Mike Williams said.
Timothy Cannon Jr., 26, of 3305 Santee River Rd. and Joseph Brandon Roff, 30, of 134 Roosevelt Dr. were taken into custody. Cannon is charged with attempt to manufacture and possession of meth. Roff’s charges are possession of meth and simple possession of marijuana.
Both suspects are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center.
