World Series Bound

The Hanahan Dixie Angels won the state tournament, defeating Boiling Springs 3-1 last week at Wescott Park in North Charleston to advance to the World Series July 26-31 in Petal, Miss. Tyler Henderson allowed one run on one hit for Hanahan, which scored single runs in the first, third and fourth innings to capture the traditional play division (no stolen bases) state title.
