Pinewood basketball celebrated two milestones last week.
Lady Panthers coach Nancy Beatty and senior Bri Boyd were both presented with a game ball commemorating a career benchmark. Boyd scored her 1000th point last week and Beatty was honored for picking up the 300th win of her coaching career.
“As a coach, reaching any milestone is a gift and being able to reach my 300th win with this team is truly an honor and a blessing,” Beatty said.
Beatty met her benchmark on Dec. 21 with a 57-52 win over Penfield High School during the Myrtle Beach holiday tournament.
