Members of Fleet Reserve Association Branch 269 and Ladies Auxiliary Unit 269 teamed up to assist Veterans Village volunteers in preparing and serving Christmas dinner to over 40 veterans residing in a transitional facility located on the old Navy Base. The event was organized by Kristina Friend, a 17-year-old who is the daughter of FRA members Perry and Lisa Friend. The Goose Creek Branch 269 membership was led by president Fred Bolz and Ladies Auxiliary president Gail Bolz.
