Ames, Watkins exchange vows

Courtney Olivia Ames of Macedonia was married to Henry Wyman Watkins of Aiken on April 18, 2009 at the Gardens of Rose Hill Estate in Aiken.
The bride was given away by her father, DeLyle Ames. The Rev. Carlton S. McDaniel officiated.
The bride is the daughter of DeLyle and Darlene Ames of Macedonia. The groom is the son of Herbert and Juanita Watkins of Aiken.
The bride wore a full-length white chiffon gown with empire waist, beaded bodice and train.
The bridesmaids, who wore long lavender chiffon gowns, were Jocelyn Davey, Meredith Davey, Caroline Watkins and Holley Watkins.
The best man was Wade Elliot. Groomsmen were Ben Ames, Sean Ames, Wallace Watkins and Don Watkins.
The bride is the granddaughter of Orabelle Mixson and the late Nowood Mixon of Macedonia, and the late Victor and Luella Ames of Thief River Falls, Minn.
The groom is the grandson of the late Lonnie and Nellie Redd of Vaucluse, S.C., and the late J.C. and Fannie Watkins of Aiken County.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Costa Rice and will reside in Graniteville, S.C.
