'Friends' in need of book donations
Wednesday, March 03, 2010

The Friends of the Berkeley County Library are planning the Annual Spring Book Sale and are in need of book donations.
Especially needed are books on cooking, gardening, crafts, home decorating, home improvement, history (especially Civil War), as well as any children’s books. We will also accept VHS and DVD movies, books on tape or CD, as well as music CD’s.
Please donate only items in good condition. Donated items can be dropped off at any of the branch libraries. A tax receipt is available on request.
The book sale will be held on Saturday, March 20 at the Goose Creek Branch Library (325 Old Moncks Corner Road in Goose Creek).
Please note, this is a new location for the sale. Sale hours are 9 a.m. until noon and, as always, most books will be priced 25 cents to $2. Come early for best selection.
All monies raised go to benefit the six branch libraries in Berkeley County. For more information, call the Goose Creek Library at 572-1376.
